Time to mount those horses, hitch up those carriages, polish those boots and prepare for the final two shows of the STRIDE 2019 show season. The shows will be held back to back on October 26th and 27th at the Florida Horse Park, Ocala, FL.
Pink is the theme for Saturday, October 26th, with a portion of entry fees being dedicated to fighting breast cancer. Here’s the catch…pink must be displayed on horse or rider in order for a portion of that rider’s entry fee to be donated and will be noted by scribes as riders and drivers navigate their tests.
Exhibitors were not at a loss for creative tactics to show their support for pink last year. One horse actually had his mane and tail colorized with pink hair spray  for the occasion.
On October 27th, the theme is Halloween. In addition to regular classes, costume classes will be held. There will be a class for riders, lead line, and drivers.
When planning your costume, remember to include your REQUIRED HELMET as part of your ensemble.
Closing date for entries is October 14th, 2019.
This will be your last opportunity to accrue four volunteer hours needed for year end awards.
