STRIDE OCALA FL DRESSAGE - HORSES TO PLACE

Three really fun horses need to go on to new lives. We are looking for the right match and will place these guys in really good homes. The horses are currently in Newberry. Pictures are available. Please call Dr. Shauna with questions (352) 538-3021, or email medicinewr@yahoo.com. References needed if I don't know you :)[March/April 2010]

Wookie: 12 yr Hanoverian mare, 17.1 h. Champagne chestnut. Wallstreet Kid X Nebelhorn. WTC. She has an endearing temperament and a huge trot with lots of lift. Light in the bridle, sensitive to the seat and doesn't take leg to stay forward. Bred to be a dressage horse and she would love to be one. Loves to stand for little girls to groom her. Has shown training level and trail ridden when young. Suited for an advanced beginner with supervision or an intermediate (or more) rider. She has shivers (EPSM) and requires a low starch diet, joint support and regular riding. Has a scar on her hoof. Currently out of shape. Needs her own person, not a lesson horse.

George: 17 yr TB gelding, 16.3 h. Copper chestnut. Was in H/J training for years, has done up to 3rd level dressage and still could with fitness. Needs joint support, low or no jumping. Quiet in the arena, hasn't done trail riding. Suitable for advanced beginner with supervision or intermediate rider. Soft, rides well from the seat. Would be super to give a rider confidence and a sensitive, well-trained ride on the flat. George loves being groomed, and pampered and told what a good boy he is. He takes care of his rider. He needs his own person to dote on him. Not a lesson horse. Needs to get in shape.

Ysa: (pronounced EEsah) 19 yr TB mare, 15.3 h. Classy dark bay with no white. Ysa is from Canada and is a very pretty girl. She is friendly with excellent ground manners. Was going first level dressage when in work 3 years ago. Can be ridden bridleless by the right rider. Great for walk trot beginners or intermediate riders. Can be tense for the in-between rider. Trail rides. Fun horse. Not a lesson horse. She is also out of shape but holds her girlish figure very well.
